Stephanie Mufson was born in Manhattan in the last weeks of 1979, and
raised in the suburbs in Connecticut. She recognized early on in life
the two things that made her happiest; creativity and adventure, and
has spent her life passionately pursuing a life made up of those
experiences.
Art
was her first love, and her first outlet for exploration. In her teen years
she discovered traveling and was instantly hooked. Fitting college into
a busy schedule of cross-continental adventures Stephanie began at the
University of Denver in 1998, graduating with honors from the Maryland
Institure College of Art in 2003 with a BFA in General Fine Arts.
In 2004 Stephanie moved to San Francisco to continue the exciting journey of life as an artist.
Since
then, Stephanie has shown and sold her art and jewelry in galleries and
alternative
art spaces, Live Painted and performed artisticly
and musically at venues and festivals throughout California, and is the
creator, curator and host of the monthly arts extravaganza, Trickster
Arts Salon... and
never forgetting the importance of a good adventure has traveled the
world pursuing the beautiful, the strange, and the exotic.
